Summer Sunset @ est.

Last week we had date night at est. As anticipated, it was pretty awesome.

You like the souffle? Cherry! With kirsch ice cream and creme fraiche. I think the dessert needs to be shown first because it was sublime.

Mash tater! My camera just refused to focus on the mash until I dropped some of my fish on it as I was passing some to Jus. Poor table etiquette pays.

I had a small morsel of this steak and it was not only perfectly cooked by also dripping in some manner of delicious herby butter. More please! As at Flying Fish last week, there was a helluva lotta whispering happening at est. Whispering- so in right now.

My fishie was good but I did have steak envy. The tahini/dukkah sauce was really tasty and I think it would be simple enough to replicate at home.

Dessert again! So pretty and so delicious. Uhh, I tried to bake a souffle at home and everything was going well until I separated the eggs and the oven sparked and billowed electrical smoke in the room. Boohoo!

Happy weekend! What are you up to today? I'm hanging on my mums couch with foxtel and a cup of tea. Later I'm meeting some crackas for dinner. YAY!!!
